Paul Birchard is an Actor, Director, Writer and Teacher, originally from Los Angeles, based in Scotland for many years. He has worked in Film, TV, Radio and Theatre, with - among many others - Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Ken Loach, Lindsay Anderson, Kevin Spacey, Cate Blanchett, John Boorman, Christopher Nolan, Angela Lansbury, Tim Burton, Trevor Nunn, John Cusack, Linda Hamilton, Merchant/Ivory, Martin Sheen. His feature length documentary U & ME & TENNESSEE - an American romance... - heavily influenced by the work of Emile De Antonio and John Cage, was an Official Selection at the Raindance and Mardi Gras Film Festivals. Paul's solo stage version of THE PAT HOBBY STORIES - F. Scott Fitzgerald's hilarious and touching Tales of Hollywood - has garnered rave reviews in London, Glasgow, Dublin and Edinburgh. Paul is one of the Scottish Friends of the Jenin Freedom Theatre, a singer/songwriter and he has directed and taught Acting at many colleges and Acting studios.
Christine Cornell is a Brooklyn based actor and singer. Most recently, Christine was in Naples, Florida performing with the Gulfshore Playhouse in Terrence McNally's Master Class in the role of Sophie de Palma. She has a BM in Vocal Performance from The Jacob’s School of Music at Indiana University, where she studied under Mary Ann Hart, and is a MM Candidate in Vocal Performance at the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under Maitland Peters. She is currently studying voice with Joyce Hall. Her favourite credits include the Paper Mill Playhouse Production of the gorgeous revival of James Brennan's The Sound of Music, M. F. K. Fisher in the contemporary opera The Art of Eating, Buffy in the collegiate premiere of William Bolcom’s A Wedding (based on the film), participating with the Trinity Choir in Virgil Thompson and Gertrude Stein’s Four Saints in Three Acts at BAM, as told by the Mark Morris Dance Group, and as Broadway-hopeful, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street. Christine works as a singer/cantor for St. Paul’s Chapel with Director Marilyn Haskel and in the choir at Trinity Church on Wall Street with Director Julian Wachner. Christine will be making her Goodspeed Opera House debut this autumn in the production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella.
Philip Kingscott: Philip has worked with National Theatre of Scotland, Arches, Mischief La-Bas, Theatre Alba, Siege Perilous, Theatre Workshop, Wildworks, V.amp and Cutting Edge Theatre. He has also performed in Ireland, Italy, Switzerland and Romania. Film work includes The Wicker Tree and the Scottish BAFTA winning Trouble Sleeping. He is also founder and Artistic Director of Peapod Productions, a theatre company which tours new work throughout the UK and abroad. Philip has also taught and directed for youth theatres in Scotland and Italy.
Allan Scott-Douglas: Since achieving a BA in Acting (with Distinction) from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh in 2006, Allan has worked all over the world as an actor and singer. He is the voice of the lead character “Jamie” on the original concept CD of ‘Outlander – The Musical’, based on the ‘Outlander’ novels by Diana Gabaldon. He has also recently been confirmed as the narrator of the audiobook version of Diana Gabaldon's short story "Virgins" for it's inclusion in an anthology entitled "Dangerous Women", which is being compiled and edited by George RR Martin, of 'Game Of Thrones' fame. Allan has worked extensively in film and TV. He can also be seen performing as one of Scotland’s Three Tenors in the world famous Taste Of Scotland Show at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh until October.
